Jumpstart Sweetwater

We are excited to invite you to Jumpstart Sweetwater, an orientation designed specifically for dual and concurrent enrollment high school students. The orientation will be held on August 10th, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Rock Springs campus. Please arrive by 10:00 a.m. to allow time for check-in before the program begins.

Whether this is your first college class or you've taken classes with us before, Jumpstart Sweetwater is a great opportunity to become familiar with campus, connect with faculty and staff, and make sure you're ready for a successful semester.

During the event, you'll:

• Participate in a fun Student Resource Scavenger Hunt and discover the many services available to support your success.
• Meet faculty and attend informational sessions to learn what to expect in your classes and how to thrive as a college student.
• Receive assistance logging into your student portal and learn how to access Canvas, where you'll find course materials, assignments, and important class information.
• Explore campus resources, ask questions, and connect with other dual and concurrent enrollment students.
• Receive a FREE meal coupon to enjoy on campus.

By the end of the event, you'll know where to find the resources you need, how to access your online tools, and who to contact if you need assistance throughout the semester.
